Cartooning and Animation
Virgil Walter Ross first started animating in high school where he took a class for animating. Some of his first work for animation was done for Charles B. Mintz, Ub lwerks studio, and then on to Walter Lantz. In 1935, he moved on to work for Leon Schlesinger at Warner Bros where he spent about 30 years working their. He also worked for such famous films and companies such as Star Trek: The Animated Series, Hanna Barbera and Marvel Comics. Some famous characters that Virgil Walter Ross created for Warner Bros. were Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Yosemite Sam, Tweety, and many others, including Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote.
